Jamey & Tom | A Second Chance at Love

By | Videos, Weddings | No Comments

Jamey & Tom reached out to us from Illinois while they were on the hunt for their perfect elopement location. I immediately fell in love with Jamey’s excitement, Tom’s kind spirit, and their combined positive energy and obvious love for one another.

I’m not much of a writer, so here is Jamey’s experience in her own words:

“Has a videographer ever been the starting point for planning a wedding including a location? Well, Nora was for us. We’re from Illinois and we eloped. I saw one video of Nora’s by chance in a national search for where to elope. I cried. I watched it again and cried. I even showed my fiancée and he cried. She captured the feel of the couple and the moment. She told the real story. That’s so much harder to do. We loved her already and we weren’t disappointed. She is absolutely 100% AMAZING on every level. She is so wonderful to know and work with and she is a true artist of love and of character. And she was like our compass through this process. She went above and beyond and we both said of Nora at different moments (me through emails when I was worried about making a mess of things trying to plan from afar) and him the day of the wedding when she walked in the door and told him in her way “to just let it all go and start to have fun and enjoy it all” that Nora somehow through her presence (real and digital) allowed us to relax and remember what really matters at critical moments. What a bonus! Who couldn’t use that through this process?? Her cup of talents overfloweth! Don’t let her get away! We’ve already gotten our sneak peak video and watched it over and over. It really captures and brings back that amazing day. My husband who doesn’t exactly wear his heart on his sleeve at work loves that little video so much that he has shown it to everyone he knows and some he doesn’t. It just cracks me up. If you knew him, you would know that is the highest form of praise.”

Thank you Jamey & Tom for letting us be a part of such an intimate, loving, and warm celebration! We can’t wait to celebrate with you again on your 1-year anniversary!

Anna & Noah | A Laudholm Farm Celebration

By | Videos, Weddings | No Comments

How did you two meet?
Tinder!
Why did you choose to get married at the location that you did?
We wanted to be near the ocean, but still have a farm vibe.  Maine is a vacation place for many people but still has that hidden gem of a feel.  Plus Melanie our amazing wedding planner told us to visit Laudholm and thought it would be perfect for us!
Were there any happy surprises that happened at the wedding?
We were able to provide all our own tomatoes for the caterer to use in all our salads.  And my dress zipped! I wasn’t hungover the next morning! Noah was more handsome than I’ve ever seen him. We got a photo with all 10 grandchildren and my grandmother who means so much to me (all of us are NEVER in the same place at once). We both wrote our vows the morning of, and even though we wish we prepared more they were very honest and loving.
What moment sticks out to you above all of the others from the wedding?
Having an amazing dinner (we really love food) in a beautiful tent with over 100 people that I love so genuinely, when does that ever happen?
Now that the wedding is over, what are you going to do with all of your free time?!
No longer plan the details of a wedding and tend to our crazy farm! And enjoy lots of hot tea by our wood stove!
